who would win?
practice starts & shift points , get it down right. put correct air in front & rear tires for draging , remove spare & any other weight , consider dropping front sway bar. 1/4 tank or less of 93 octane or better, bump your timing up to 14 or better, where ever it runs best, your MUSTANG deserves at least that. good luck . let us know.
I think it will be a drivers race or you will win. However, I don't know where people get LT1's run high 14's and low 15's. They should all run low 14's if they aren't ragged out. My 95 auto Z28 ran a 14.11 stock. I like both camaros and mustangs, but I do think the LT1 is overlooked and underated by most.
A 93 Camaro will not run a low 14. Strictely because of the thing being almost 13 years old. The LT1 new would get a mid 14 but a old one will be in the high 14's. I think the mustang will win but it will be a good race.
Come on 01GT, age has very little to do with it, you have no idea what kind of shape the car is in, just because it is 13 years old does not mean it is beat. Bone stock those cars were good for low 14's, I owned one and thats what it ran. I would figure that the LT1 in this case is a 14.0 car and the stang with those mods is at least a 13.5 car. The win should go to the Stang
pretty sure the notch will take the camaro. my dad has a 89 lx coupe and it ran a 14.3 with only underdrive pullies, kn drop in filter, and he bypassed his a/c with a diff. belt my buddy has a 97 t/a auto with a best run of 14.4
