track tomorrow...help!
well im off to the track tomorrow.. just put in some 3:73s and rebuilt the posi, im hoping for a 13 second time slip, but this will be my first time ever racing on slicks, anyone have any advice? i dont wanna bog off the line, and i dont wanna break an axle lol, i need some tips.

it doesnt matter what you do dc (bish) either way youre gonna get murdered on our little bet...lol
good luck, have fun, all i can say is practice launching a couple of times to see where youre lowest launch you dont bog at is if youre that worried about blowing your rearend up.

You wont bog down. Just rev to about 3500 and drop the clutch lightly. If you are on some really good slicks then you wont really need to "feather" the clutch. Just dump it and nail the gas at the same time.

Not at all. I had some BFG drags on and I went to Seguin in San An, TX. and I dropped it there at 5000+ rpms over and over and never broke traction and my I drove the car 150 miles back home afterwards.
