You wont bog down. Just rev to about 3500 and drop the clutch lightly. If you are on some really good slicks then you wont really need to "feather" the clutch. Just dump it and nail the gas at the same time.

What size are ur tires? I ran the same set up friday night. I had on some mt Et drags. I put in 15psi and launched at about 2500 and feathered the clutch the first time to see what was gonna happen. My last run i think i dumped the clutch at 4k. Everything is fine with my car. Just see what your cars gonna like. It might like 3k instead of 4k. Doesnt it have a better low end torque curve?I dont know if uve ever ran a slick before, but that thing is gonna get crazy at the end of a 1/4 mile. The tires have no sidewall support and the rear is gonna sway after about 60(thats when mine started. I shut down the first time cuz it scared me.LOL.)

I ran in a 1/8 mile, so i didnt get over 80. It might be tricky at 100 or so.

Not at all. I had some BFG drags on and I went to Seguin in San An, TX. and I dropped it there at 5000+ rpms over and over and never broke traction and my I drove the car 150 miles back home afterwards.
