He was trying. We talked after the race and was shocked! He couldn't stop telling me how that insane for a V6!

Dude I love the new V6 as much as anyone but they are a very high 13 second car on a good day and maybe it'll trap 102 and the firehawk is a low 13 second car every day and will trap 108 or better with the mods you mentioned.

Mind you with my old 2000 GT, CAI, Full exhaust, full suspension, 4:10 gears, (no nitrous) 93 dyno tune, would get crushed by 3-5 car lengths from a roll like we did; Each and every single time...

So we line them up on mexico cruising around 55 and we did a 3 honk. We both took off and by 95 was when he started pulling on me. We were dead even until then. Around 110 we both shut off with him only 1-1.5 cars ahead of me.

We are both surprised of the turn out! Especially this car being BONE STOCK! Caroline continues to impress me. Next mods in the near future will be axle back exhaust, CAI, and a dyno tune when ever shops near here know how to tune them well!
Lol. Thanks for letting us know.

Im not trying to take anything away from you, but with his gears, power and weight advantage, etc and you with 2.73 gears, there is NO WAY IN HELL you would beat a 360 or so HP 410 lb/tq or so ( with the mods ) off the line, or mid range, or even high RPM's... that car would give mine a run for the money, if not, beat me....

I don't think the OP thought he could take a firehawk.

I know this... Im just reiterating that the firehawk is not running right if it lost to a 3.7 stock V6...

I really have nothing to hide here. This was the outcome of the race. If I would have lost by 15 car lengths I would have wrote that. This was what happened, I gave a description to the best of my ability to what happened there. I knew I was going to lose going into this, and I lost. The fact that surprised us both was the fact that not by much. I really have no reason to lie about this. I can care less if I lost to a car faster, and for what reason would I have to lie about the distance? You got to remember he was an auto. That was the killer for him. His car put down ~320 rwhp and ~333 ftlbs of torque; cant remember the exact number. People are putting anywhere from 260-270 rwhp stock. This car also weighs almost 300-400 lbs. less. Before we raced we BOTH thought that I was going to lose by 3-4 car lengths. All I can say was that this was not what happened. It happened like I described and there you have it. Believe it or not.
