He doesnt have the mph for a 13 second pass

 

Thats a real good point, but the 99mph would be better with better condtions. And for the street tire thing, I went 8.8 in the 1/8 with a 1.92 60ft, so it can be done!

I beg to differ on 99mph's not being enought to hit a high 13. I ran a 14.11@96 in my bone stock 95 Z28. I could have have taken out the spare tire and jack and possibly got a 13.99 with a stock auto LT1.

 

99mph is good enough for mid 13's with some good tires.

Your 60 foots stank worse than a little kid who can't wipe his own butt. LOL

Keep practicing, you get your 60' down to a 2.0* and you'll see 13's.

Last time I went to the track in my GT, I had the same mods and I was trapping a whole 4mph faster than you.

but yea, tires i think kiilled me, i only ran once where i dumped the clutch, and that brought me from a 2.6 to a 2.2, so maybe acouple more runs and i could have had a 2.0 even
thats what i would have needed to be feeling better, but oh well

i think im trailoring it down on teh 31st and im gonna probalby have MT Et street radials by then

if those are one of the stickiest tires out there

 

I say you can easily get a 13 out of it. I'm with the guy in the LT-1 though. My auto GT on a bad day could run a 14.1@96's.
