Hit the strip last night in Sacramento. Ran a 11.58 @119.6. I think this is pretty much as best as I can do with these nitto's. Just need to save some money to fix what ever breaks in the drive train once i get stickier tires, since it is still stock. The next run would have been another 11.5 or better because I hooked up good. But, about half way down the track I think "it seems a little breezy in hear." I had forgot to roll up my drivers side window Slowed me down, I only trapped at 91 mph in 8th when was @ 95 mph pretty much the whole night. Rolled it up and ran an 11.6x @ 118. Ran a bunch of 11.8's with ****ty 1.9-2.0 60's. Pretty happy with running an 11.5 with no weight reduction and racing it in complete street trim.

So, I was at the gas station after hitting the drag strip. Waiting inline behind a blacked out SRT 300 and a blacked out fox body waiting to get air. They both had been at the strip as well. Anyway one of the guys comes up and asks what I have done. I give him the gist and tell him I just ran an 11.5 tonight. Anyway they finally finish and I get my air. For some reason I guess they decided they wanted to race me because they waited for me. I wanted to have nothing to do with them because the track guy had warned everybody that the CHP would be out tonight trying to bust people. Anyway, after 3-4 times of the SRT goosing it I said **** it. Dropped it to 3rd @3000 rpms around 40-45mph. Kind of my dead spot to high to be in second but with 4.10's don't really have a dead spot. Wait for the Guy to punch it again. He does, and soon as he does I floor it and put about a half car in between us almost instantly once I do that I just put on the breaks. I don't know exactly how fast we were going because I was looking at the rpms but I believe it was from about 40-80 mph. After I made my point he still kept on goosing it. I got tired of dealing with it and just turned off the road for a couple minutes. I get that he wanted to race but after goosing it 5x and the guy clearly doesn't want to go, just forget about it. (I dreamed this last night)

Haha, ya i'm thinking about it. I was thinking that if i did go that route and end up breaking something i could just garage it until i can afford it. Shoot i'd save 100 a month on insurance. i think if i got some big n littles and some weight reduction 10's could be possible. Or if my tuner comes out anytime soon i might swap to a 15 lb pulley, running the 13lb right now. Should pick up another 40whp.

Ditch those nitto's and get some Mickey Drag Radials!! Get into the low 11's with the right tire!!

I have over 100 Passes with Mickeys on my car.. 528.9whp.. Moser Carrier, 4.10's STock Axles... THey are now bent.. But o well, Going to get better, took MANY MANY passes to bend the stock axles!

Average 60 with mickeys is around 1.68-1.72 Had a few 1.50's felt like i was going to **** my pants.. I cannot wait to hit a 1.3 60ft lol....

Ya, i think i might. I just found some et streets on craigslist so i think i'm going to make an offer and see what happens.

I didn't actually see any of his runs. I know he had something done to his exhaust because it was loud. Probably had a tune, cai, and mufflers. Pulled on him pretty easy so i don't think it could have been much more than that.
