3.73 for blower Staangs and 4.10's for N/A is a more popular myth than Santa Claus - at least on this forum.

It is amazing how 4.10's have this reputation for being un-streetable and impossible to hook up. You will need the same amount of suspension work and the same type of tires no matter what gear you choose. You have an overdrive transmission take advantage of it.
Thats what I was thinking Im actually a fan of 4:30's but then again I have an A4 so 3:73's are as low as Im going.

Yup I want 4.30's as well but I have a 6speed so my cruising rpm will still only be like 2400-2500 rpm at 80 mph

in the next year and a half i plan on rebuilding my engine to 600hp so i dont want to have to take appart my rear again[:@]

wut do u guys think of 3.90s?

I don't think it will even be that bad at 70mph it will be at 1900 rpms in 6th. My 3:73's sit at 2500 at 70mph in 4th.

As for 3:90's I have not met one person yet that hasn't had trouble with them howling or making noise. Now that could be due to incorrect installation but alot of companys will warn you that those gears will make noise before you buy them. I would just go with 4:10's and leave it at that.
