Default New numbers

Figured I'd post here since it's the only section i hang out in.

So, yesterday was the big day. Put on the 15lb pulley, new GT500 throttle body, and iced down my new intercooler reservoir.

Car put down 526/534 on a 91 tune. I was expecting to pick up a little more hp but my blower is pretty maxed out at this point, which you can see from the dyno sheet. Instead of hp continuing to build until read line it maxes out around 5900 rpms and stay flat. However, I saw massive gains on the torque end. Comparing my old graph, you can see I picked up 72 lbs on the torque which is awesome.

It was a great day, thanks goes out to Tony Gonyon for dailing in my tune, and Sean for being a great host.

These graphs are from the same dyno

Old tune @ 13 psi:

New tune @ 15 psi (ignore the 677 torque spike) :

I ran 11.05 @ 129 today. I will add to the thread a little later.

Made 565/560 on the dyno. That tune was awesome.

You need to come up for a weekend with your wife, steve and his can come too, we can race, BBQ and drink some adult beverages.

Good seeing you.

I can't believe how quick it makes a dyno pull. I'm like 302, that torque curve is flat sick. Nice work 50, can't wait to see how she does down the track. Probably going to take some getting used to with so much torque down low.

Damn, oh so close to 10's. That's awesome man. We definitely need to come up, that would be a lot of fun. Let me know when your thinking of setting it up.

Ya, the 4.10's make it pretty short. Although, i believe they revved it to at least 6800, which is 125-130 mph.

I was telling the guys i have this crazy pipe dream of hitting a 10.999 on the nitto's. I don't think it will be possible with the new torque. It was quite a feat to pull low 1.7x's with 462 wtq. I just like the idea of being able to say i have a 10 second street car as it sits on the actual street. I'm going to give a shot once at the strip and see what happens.

I'm down foshow! I didn't end up getting the tires. Wallet is just to thin at the moment. You get any footage of the vette hitting the wall?

No, I didn't even see it happen. Just the aftermath.
