Default first time at track with mustang

i ran my mustang last night at music city raceway a.k.a "the hill". the car has mac long tubes, mac off road h-pipe, mac cat-back, b303 cam, 1.7 ratio roller rockers, 3.73 gears, and just the crank and idler fan underdrive pullies.

this was my best time last night
reaction--- +.1158
60ft -----2.2343
330ft -----6.0860
et @ 594ft -- 8.6661
1/8 et---- 9.2391
1/8 mph ---- 78.54

i was just wondering if this was a decent time for the mods or a crappy time. i'm sure this has be covered a million and one time but i'm newbie. thanks chris.

Yeah, those times stank. Those are roughly a low 14.

What year mustang, is it a gt? If that is a GT you should be quicker than that.

thats a good time actually, a nice set of DR's would help, but that is pretty good man. thats roughly a 14.2, with a 2.0 60, that would be a high 13.7 sooo

if he got a nice set of DR's he should have no excuse for higher than a 1.9 60' and could probably manage somewhere in the 1.8's (that is assuming he has a locking diff.). That would be about 3 tenths off the 60 and what is the math each tenth in the 60' is approximately 1.5 tenth off the 1/4? so that would likely put him in a 13.7 or at best a 13.5 and that is respectable for a 91 hatch

I have to ask, but why would a GT be faster than a LX?
Both have identical motors and drivetrain. If anything, the LX should be slightly quicker because it's a little lighter than a GT.

If it was a GT it would be a different body style different year and would be faster.. He was assuming at first that the car was newer.
