Compared to the composite-plastic pos the base models come with, the Boss wheel feels fukn GREAT! lol. I wouldn't have gone out my way to buy it or anything, but dad found it for $150, scooped it up for a profit, and decided to let me have it for what he had in it. And he's letting me make a few payments on the wheels as well, so I said F it and went all out
MRT.... it would be quite interesting b/t the two cars. Im thinking it depends on how high into the triple digits the run went. The v6 seems to be mostly topend, where the 2v starts to run outta breath a little. When I ran my bro's g/f's gt, he jumped out a car instantly, then by 115 I was out by a frontend. The other 2 I ran (one at the track, one on the street), it was pretty ugly. Driver error, maybe, but I'll take it!

Good run good death man. Cody has a problem with just gearing down and hitting lol but just that hit easily cost you at least a car and the rider could of cost you about another car... I'd so love to see a rematch with a even hit and solo to solo.
Maybe next up we can get you lined up with the LT1 T/A lol

Well, got my "first" loss in the '12 yesterday, and in good fashion too.
So, I see a real clean NE gt cruising ahead of me, so I give chase. After stalking him for a couple of miles, we line up. From about a 45-50 roll, no honks, I tap the gas, I guess to let'em know "lets do it". He took that as "GO" lol, and gets the initial hit. Instant car on me, hit 3rd, and he pulls 2 more through that gear, up to about 105-110.

That was a joke, by the way.

Full bolt-on 2 valve Stangs are one car I never could pin point. I've seen them run low 14s and basically not even respond to the mods, and I've also had them stay right beside me in my geared/bolt-on Mach and/or run 12s. Maybe some are just better at hiding their true mods, IDK.

Yeah I had a 2v with bolt ons. It was weird. But you're right. Off the bat, those thigns fly. But by 60 mph, it's like they run out of breath. They're like a in shape guy who hasn't worked out in 2 years. Strong at first, then they just seem to give up a couple of seconds into it. Throw some cams on a 2v though, and those things can put a hurtin on you. Good loss. The New Edge is still my fav body style.

Maybe you're right Stone. I always hear how slow the 99-04 gt's are (especially up top) but mine seems to run good for what it is. And the cams helped quite a bit on top end power. Enough so that i was able to beat a stock auto L99 SS Camaro.
