Hello fellow stanger!
As a bone stock car you hardly get any action, and if you do, you end up loosing.
A while back a SRT8 stopped next to me at a light. I turned off TCS in case he was going to do something. I drove away as I always do, swiftly. I saw him getting on it after the light, and I dropped the hammer. Pulled away in 1st and 2nd, then by mid 3rd he reeled me in and freightrained me. Those things are no joke above 60.
Tonight when I drove home from work I ran into a fellow 05-06 Mustang GT. He had the stock exhaust system, so visually he did not have any mods. Normally I take a left exit, but since he started to keep up with my driving I opted for the long way home. We had a little fun, although I might have had an unfair advantage. Just a gallon or 2-3 in my gas tank.
I edged away all 3 times we ran, but it was very very close. I shifted right at redline every time, I don't know if his was an automatic or not. I couldn't tell you the speeds we where doing on the last run, but I backed off shortly after shifting to 4th. It was on a service road with no side-streets.
As he merged on the highway behind I signaled with my indicators (once left, once right, not both). I wonder if he frequents this board or not. If so, it was nice to play and be in the same league! Nice Legend Lime GT! If not, this is another one of those cool starry bra's.
