After getting my "new" tires put on my car yesterday 26x11.50 MT et streets my buddy called me up this morning asking if I wanted to line them up today so naturally I said sure haha

My car 87 GT H/I bolt on's 3.73's 292whp 328wtq and I was solo

His car 98 T/A a4 FTI 3600 stall udp, lt's, y-pipe and cb, lid, 4.10's, and tuned 331whp 337wtq he had a 160lbs rider and he's on street tires this time.



1st: 30ish roll




2nd: 40 roll




3rd: 3rd gear 60-65 roll



4th: 40-45 roll




5th: 1st gear 15 roll



Clearly he has the faster car than me but man that is one strong running LS1 for sure especially for 853 heads and non ported tb on a LS1 intake. BTW the T/A is for sale for 5k if anyone might be interested haha

That outta the way, those were some pretty tight runs! That 15 roll was as gooda race as anyone can ask.... I saw his car on c/l, whats he going after next?

But yea man it was a very tight run but he did have to pedle it a touch in 1st but he wants to sell it to get some concrete poured for his garage and a few other things. Buuut he did have a trade offer on a sts turbo'd 6sp lt1 camaro so we will see what happens

I know and I could drop the ps and a/c and front bumper support to get my race weight close to 3120ish and do a k-member. Maybe lighter seats but tgats as far as I'd go with this car.

Good runs, looks like you're really banging those gears too. I'm still learning about these 302s, but wouldn't you pick up a bit of power by going to a custom grind or maybe a TFS1 since you have some good flowing heads.
