Oh anderson has good stuff and my dad has delt with him a lot and has gotten good advice from Rick. I want one of his cams bad haha

Your buddy does he have a red coupe by chance?? If so that's probably the one I see on youtube and absolutly love lol
Rick Anderson is hard to be when it comes to pushrod 5.0's!! I used to run on of his N-71 cams (6,900 RPM shift points) in my 331 cubic inch '85 GT. The car ran 11.20's @ 122+ MPH all motor in a 3,150 race weight car back almost 10 years ago.

LS1 seems like it pulls harder up top. Whenever I raced my Camaro it seemed like it would start to pull away from a lot of cars after 70mph or so. So its cool that you are hanging with him at 60+

Yep.. My car was always weak/unable to pull on most cars until 3rd gear... the crap gearing is to blame imho.

Ah ok back when I first got my car it would do killer against ls1's down low then past 1/8 mile speeds they would start to fraight train me then I got to full bolt ons and I hung in there pretty well up top considing stock heads suck dick lol, then after my head swap my car pulls really well up top as you can see haha. But my hardest pulling gear feels like 4th.

Even now... Look at your times...
I run 8.4 @ 86mph 1/8th
And 12.88 @ 110mph 1/4..

You would kill me down low, I just have to pray the race goes long enough to catch back up.

if I go on3 im putting the stock cam back in.

more boost, keep the rpm's lower, keep the block safer, longer.
