Default Track testing 3.73s

Last time out on the 3.23s, the car went 12.4 at 110.9 on a 1.89 60'. Changes since then are 3.73 gear and a free ram air mod. FRA simply consist of cutting the bottom out of the stock airbox so air is forced between the radiator and air dam directly into the filter.

First pass of the day without a cool down.

12.24 at 114.1 mph. 1/8th mile stayed at 7.89 at 89.5. 60' was 1.89. The car also bounced off the rev limiter pretty good going into 3rd. Taking it in Friday to get checked. At any rate, these damn gears are showing a serious gain as is the ram air mod.

Here are the slips side by side to compare last time without the gears and FRA to with 3,73s and FRA. The 12.4 at 110 is obviously before, 12.2 at 114 is after the mods.

Super crappy Phone vid. I stuck it in my sunvisor. Worked well, but the quality is awful.

Post up the slips side by side stone. Cars running strong as hell for the mods it has. Maybe the driver mod is helping out!

Post them both up soon as I get home. Can tell you its all top end as far as changes. 1/8th only dropped a tenth with no mph change. I'm thinking the gears are putting the car at a much better RPM in 3rd across the finish line.

Congrats on your new times. I think with a cool down you may be able to do a little better. Good luck and try to get some videos!

Going to be tough to get a vid today since I rode out alone. My usual crew were all busy with other stuff and couldn't make it. I let the car cool, but the air temps also shot up, so it ran another 12.2 at 114. She's resting now, but once the air temps start dropping back down I hope it runs better. The car is pulling consistent 1.8s though.

Sounds about spot on for the gear change you did, might even have some more in it

I feel like 2v mustang autos usually drop lots of ET, but we also have a lot less bottom end power so getting into the power range makes a world of difference.

my brothers auto gt picked up around a 1/2 second from 3.27s to 4.10s

Killer times and gains man!!! That mph is insane for sure but I think the ram air helped out a lot with that. Not gonna lie I'm jealous bc that thing is flat out moving for the mods you have!! lol

I think the ram air helped a lot too. Pretty cool considering it was a free mod. I've got a pretty good in-car vid and slips on the way. I stuck my I-Phone in the sun visor and it actually worked really well.

You guys wouldn't believe the massive amount of bad *** cars with awful drivers though. An 04 ZO6 kept wanting to line up with me, and kept getting his *** handed to him by yours truly. He was centri charged and cammed, yet couldn't run faster than 12.7....at 124 mph

Lots of modded 5.0s out there running low 12s, 12 flat, in the high teens to 120. Very impressive cars. A C6Z out there was running embarrassing ETs as well, never got out of the 13s, but was trapping 120+, lol. Just a shame so see all that power going to waste. To make it worse, you never see those bad drivers out there twice, so the driver mod will never happen.

I would believe it....thats why my 400 hp car usually beats everyone cause all these 500-800 hp cars run 12s lol

Drives me crazy, lol. Thats how all these "those cars only run 1X.XX" rumors get started. The guy in the blown Z06 was hell bent on keeping the traction control on because he "didn't want to break anything", lmfao. I seriously just wanted to slap him when he said that.
