Track testing 3.73s
IDK man, I basically just give it enough to squat and as soon as I feel the rear drop, I roll into it quick. None of that brake stalling crap or anything. Starting out idle and going from there basically.
Does your 02 have decent gears, or 2.73s? With a good tune, etc, it should run the same as mine assuming DA and the thousand other variables are equal, lol.
Greddy, I agree with you. Thats pretty much the route I HAVE to take at this point if I want to keep running it and/or to go any faster..

trans is going to puke its guts soon haha
damn good run. built trans, stall, and drag radials. Hopefully stick with that for a while and get mid 11's.
I wouldn't even consider head/cam. do the turbo, have it daily driveable easy, still good mileage, and making enough power to get in the 10's

I'll change the privacy settings. Thanks for letting me know. Warning you now though, the vid quality is terrible.
Thanks man. I'm just as surprised, trust me. I've never seen many (or any) LS1s pull this well with so few mods.
Exactly what I'm thinking. Heads/Cam make good power, but for the cost I'd rather just build a turbo set-up for it. A friend of mine swapped an LS2 into his Nova and put together a turbo for it. The whole turbo set-up only costs him $800 doing it himself and having a local exhaust shop fab up the piping.

After seeing the number of bad drivers I did Sunday, I can't help but think that 99% of the guys on LS1tech (and elsewhere) have cars capable of running 7-8 tenths quicker than they are currently running.
Update on the shifting issue. I took it in today to adjust shift points and calibrate the speedo, and the issue has been resolved! No more bouncing off the limiter. He backed 2nd gear off by 2mph and 3rd gear off by 4mph. It hits 3rd hard now, just as hard as 2nd.
Between the loss in time bouncing off the limiter and the half *** powered shift it was experiencing, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it drops another 1-2 tenths and gains a MPH.
