umm, the RB26 was not restricted to the R34s...i know that the R33s had them, and the R32s may have offered them to, but i am not certain about that at the moment.

i was actually quite surprised at the lack of SR20 powered cars at this last NDRA event...i think that there was only one car running one, and it was an OLD sentra.

i think they used the RB26DETT's in the GT-R's, while the "lesser" rwd Skylines had the RB25's......still fast either way. i think they started puttin the RB26DETT's in the R33....i think the R32's had the RB25 non turbo, maybe, and the GT-R's were turbo awd........im not sure though. i know more about the R34's than the previous 2 gen's

R32s (89-93, although the GT-R V-Spec II was released in 1994, after the end of the R32 model run) were offered with the RB20DE inline-6 with 155hp, the RB25DE inline-6 with 180hp, the RB20DET with 210hp and the RB26DETT with 280hp

R33s (93-98) were offered with the RB25 inline-6 with 190hp in the GTS4 and GTS25 models, inline-6 turbo with 255hp in the GTS25T , the RB26DETT was in the GTR, the RB26DETT with 305hp in the GTRLM, and the RBX-GT2 which put out 405hp with a beefed up RB26, increased to 2.8L, in the 400R.

R34s (98-02) were offered with the RB20DE with 140hp in the R34GT, the RB25DE with 193hp in the R34 25GTV, R34 25GT and 25GT-X (the last two came in offered AWD, but only came as sedans), the RB25DET with 280hp in the R34 25GT-t, and of course the GTR34...with the RB26DETT.

we just know where to find the info we need. i have an affinity for all fast cars. american, import, doesnt matter. 4-cyl, 6, 8, doesnt matter. if its fast, i like it. and i havent seen one in person, but if i did, youd hear about a biga$$ car chase and id be driving the lead car (the one theyre after)

well, i belong to 50+ forums for a reason...i have a general appreciation for cars that deserve that appreciation...here is a picture that i took this weekend, its a crappy cell phone picture, but its a gorgeous car, none the less..ill have better pictures once i get the disk from my buddy who owns the camera...i got engine shots and whatnot...it is a GTR..50 state legal, so i am guessing that it is a MotoRex car, but the guy driving it didnt own it, and knew very little about it.

like i said, ill have some better pictures when i get the photo disk...i was hoping to see an R34 in person, but i was happy to finally see one. he wasnt running it, as the owner had just gotten it, and the previous owner had it "tuned", and poorly..so it wasnt running right, although the driver (who wasnt very adept with a manual) did manage to spin the tires several times while trying to move it away from the hauler...

and for the record, while ive seen the first one a few times, ive only seen 2F2F once...it was unbelievable enough, that it could have been a cartoon...

umm........thats an R33....not a 34......

ive seen the first FnF more than the 2nd one..........the first one, has more realistic racing, but, the 2nd one has better cars imo, just not enough coverage of 'em. the first one does have some nice a$$ cars though. i like both of 'em.
