OMG HILARIOUS
LMAO dude are you serious??? Not too long ago a mr2 did the EXACT same thing. It was raining and we were at a red on a very busy street, he starts revving his motor, light goes green and he gets sideways and ends up facing the wrong way.
ya i admit there were these 3 hot chicks next to me at a red. I was turning left and they were going striaght as soon i hit the gas and turned i did the biggest 360 in the middle of this busy a$$ intersection and almost hit a lexus.
I think Everybodys done it?
I was trying to have some fun coming around a 90* turn onto another road. Nobody was around at the time, so I yanked the e-brake and ended up hitting a slick spot and spinning out facing the right direction in the opposite lane I intended to be in, right at a stop sign. So when traffic came I just drove off like nothing happened.
My girlfriend, just a month ago or so, was driving on a highway in semi-wet conditions and thought we had gone the wrong direction off of a highway. She was distracted by frustration and did not slow down early enough before the offramp turn and when she tried to slow (not quickly but gently) the car began to spin. Luckily she did not lock up the brakes or we would have hit the barrier to our left but instead we spun nice and slowly to the inside of the turn into a patch of grass and was facing traffic just off the road. Could not have worked out better for us.

Pfft all of you suck. at least nothing happened when you screwed up lol. So there I am in a parking lot of a movie theatre. I've had my car maybe a month. I just found out that I could drift a bit in this car too. I gun it and do a very respectable drift around a turn and recover pretty good. Well I came up to the next turn and lost control. I slammed into the curb going about 25. I chipped my rim, bent my axle, bent the caliper encasement, and cracked a rotor. The crack in the rotor is VERY small and its more of a hairline surface fracture. overall it was around $800 to fix. It was truly awesome
why is it Mustang owners never seem to get the concept of practicing powerslides/drifting in lower hazard areas? (ok that was a generalization, stereotypical comment that I retract but was for the sole purpose of sounding like a jackass)
One of my co-workers owns an '01 GT Auto and he decided to try to powerslide around a turn in the wet roads and ended up over correcting into a hillside f'n up one of his rims too. Luckily that seemed to be the extent of his damage I believe.. Not sure if he ever got his alignment checked, though he probably should have.
I think it's great that some of you guys are practicing this powerslide thing and aren't all "drifting is for ricer bitches".
I can't wait to get my '06 GT and set that thing up for drifting and practice with all the imports. It should be fun and raise some hell when I come to share my drifting experiences with these forums.
**Point of this post, jeez brutha practice in some open parking lots with less obsticles and further away from curbs..
