Default Run with a TB SS

I was coming back to school cruising down the highway and there's headlights coming up fast from behind me, i keep on going thinking they're gonna fly by me. Well when they get close enough to me I could tell it was a trailblazer, then it starts to go by me then slows down and I saw the SS badge on the side.

He slows down enough so he could get beside me then downshifts and gooses it a couple times, so I downshift to 4th and slow to around 60 (I wasn't paying much attention). He then downshifts again and I goose it to let him know I'm good for a run.

After that he just hits it and I hit it right after he does and I just start pulling instantly. By 80 I'm a good 3 or so cars up, by 100 im a good 5 or 6 cars up, and by 110 I'm about 8 or so cars.

These are just rough estimates, he had HIDs so it was a little hard to see on top of it being dark.

After I let off he flashes his lights, I stick my thumb out the window, he pulls up next to me, I gave him another thumbs up, I couldnt see into his window since they were tinted and then he went on his way. I followed him for a little, past some cars thinking he wanted to run again but he kept going. Nice looking truck, and nice sounding as well, other than exhaust I couldn't tell if he had anything else. Does this sound right to you guys?

Also I'll put this in here but its not much of a race, I was actually coming home from school the other night and a new style jeep srt8 was going the same way I was for a while so I was passing him and he gave me a thumbs up out the window so I sat next to him and asked if he wanted to do a pull real quick, he said yeah, I downshifted to 4th at around 65 and he did too and just nailed it. So i did right after him. At about 90 I would say I was about 2 cars or so up. I slowed down and he pulled up next me and told me my car was badass and it was fast lol. Apparently he was going to a cruise night that I didn't know about, which explains all the other nice cars on the road lol. Figured I would throw that in there although it's really nothing. If it were a clear run from say 50-110 what do you guys think the outcome would be?

Thanks for reading guys!!

Definitely sounds about right. I had one for about a year, badass SUV, but was only strong from a dig up to about 80-90 mph. After that it pretty much lost its get-up and go. Lot of potential in those SS's though. Good run man...on the SRT too.

Sounds good to me. Like Stone said, their advantage is from a dig, I would never try to do a roll with mine, just doesn't seem to have that "get up and go", which is understandable for its size.

Nice runs.. at first reading I was like yeah no way a NA GT would pull a TBSS like that.. then I realized you have a Vortech, ha.. Good kills though, I've seen a few stupid fast TBSS' at the track.
