Thanks for the info on leaveing at the last yellow, but I did already know this, I was just laying down the basic's of how I run my car at the strip.

Don't pre-load the auto. You get a stronger launch if you just drop it and "flash" the converter. This does require you to drop sooner to get good reaction times but you should notice your 60ft times dropping a little.

try it both ways, it really depends on the car, I've owned cars that worked well by preloading and others liked to be flashed.

Yea, it might help break it.

+1... I remember like 5 years ago I was in my moms bravada and did that... i was pretty sure the transmission fell out of the car the way it felt... didnt even take off just made aweful noises and jerked.

+2 That is probley the best way to do it if you want to rebuld it after it explodes all over the place!!!! You should never netural drop a auto, Of course unless it is a rental and you are out to have fun with it!!! LOL
