i almost feel obligation to edit his post so we dont get in trouble for that...so let me say..

IF YOU ARE RACING AN AUTOMATIC, PUTTING IT IN NEUTRAL, BRINGING THE RPMS UP, AND PULLING IT INTO DRIVE IS NEVER, EVER, EVER A GOOD IDEA. MUSTANGFORUMS.COM CLAIMS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYONE STUPID ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY TRY THAT.

is that the first time that advice given here has actually been bad enough to warrent a mod disclaimer? I've seen bad advice before but never a disclaimer. you are a true pioneer, rotm.

well, i dont like to assume that anyone would actually think "hmm, thats a good idea..its just like letting the clutch out at high rpm", but you never know..im sure that there is plenty of other bad advice on here..i just didnt see it.

i read online a while back some small wrx forum got shut down a while ago because someone was asking about porting heads on a car using high pressure sand blasting that actually passes through the engine, or something like that...one smart@$$ member instructed that person to buy a 25 lb bag of playground sand, and hold the car at WOT, having removed the intake system, and then use a funnel to dump as much of the 25 lbs of sand into the throttle body as possible, and that it would polish everything as it passed through...turns out, someone was STUPID enough to try it, and came back on that forum with a good lawyer, and that was it for them...

I think i'd rather do a neutral drop in an auto than pour sand in my motor.

LOL that reminds of the one on a chain saw that says "do not use on genitals". Now for that to be on there, you know there had to some moron who tried to trim his pubes with a chain saw.
