Mother Nature was in a good mood in the morning but come the afternoon I think she got her tampon in a twist!

Needless to say turnout wasn't nearly what anyone was hoping only about 30 vehicles showed up due to the forecast of rain (rain didn't show up till about 2). Got in 6 passes which isnt too bad but I thought I needed tires before LOL my god after today sweet jesus drag radials have become an absolute top priority now..

I was the only one running street tires of the 30 everyone else was running Drag Radials or Slicks so they prepped the track like like hardcore and I pull up and within like 2sec got 2 staff coming to talk to me and tell me just how bad of a disadvantage i'm at with how they prepped the track cause everyone was running drag radials/slicks but me lol i'm like w/e i'm just here to have fun and get some seat time.

(Note: Wasn't expecting great times /w how they prepped the track) DA Correction = 2876ft

Glad you had fun. How were you launching, dumping the clutch or slipping the clutch? What rpms were you launching at?

 

I tried multiple methods... slipping 1st and 2nd , dumping 1st and 2nd
Small burn out and no burn out....

My 13.7 run with how they prepped the track came from slipping 2nd gear
had a great launch but didnt slip it long enough so when i came off the clutch
bogged pretty bad... either way still had fun trying to figure out what worked best
but definitely need to get me a set of drag radials
