Nitrous alone would do the trick. but without an actual poweradder, ur gonna have a pretty tough time. If u are talking about ur car being faster than him. you can beat him in a race w/o being faster. Is his car auto or 6speed? A camswap would probably do the trick also. Its all gonna cost u $$$. Good luck

from a dig or on the highway.
on the highway i think you will be looking at his *** end the whole way. unless you do some serious mods meaning all the bolt ons. remember cobras pre 03 have weak tq numbers while the Ellis Juan pulls very hard
from a dig you'll have a better chance especially with the weak 7.5 he most likely won't launch hard on a 6 speed. is it standard. me best friend has a 2002 SLP SS Camaro and that thing is crazy on the highway but he can't launch it too hard cuz hes already broke the rearend twice. actually he just broke it the other night at the track. but it was just pulling outta getting tecked and he didn't get to run. but yeah i'd get some sticky tires and gears. but i honestly think it depends if you guys are going from a dig or from a roll.

your right. how many 2v 281 mustangs you know running low 12's on all motor? i mean all the mustangs on here that are running your numbers N/A have bigger motors as yourself.
i love power but i wouldn't sacrifice the looks of my car just for the power. thats why i decided that with some money i can just make it faster. although if i could do it all over again i might have gone with a WS6 cuz they are sweet looking and have power. but i know what LS1's are capable of
but the engine is the only appealing part, to me that is.

It's funny I own both a Stang and a Camaro. Comparing the two. To me my SS looks alot more agressive (I don't care for the regular Z/28, they look too plain). The Stang is easyier to get in and out of for sure, but I really hate the shifter placement on the Mustang, it feels way too far forward. Of coure the Stang has a plush ride compared to the SS as well, but the SS handles like it is on rails. I like both cars, they each have their postives and negatives. However, to me, speed wins out over looks every time.
