some saleens are nothing more than suspension and body kits. others are evil and have more power than elvis had fat.

Well i know that 02 SS's are awesome cars, but his car isnt a GT aint it a Saleen, and im pretty sure Saleens are just as fast as LS1's
Oops, for some reason I was thinking that the Stang in question here was a 2003 GT. I dunno what I was thinking, I must've been thinking about a thread from a different forum or something. My bad.

You will get him. People seem to give the Evos too much credit IMO. They are quick but they are not as fast as they are made out to be. I have never seen a stock break out of the 14s at the track I run at. Now I do think that they are capable of mid 13s but I just don't see low 13s in there. That is just my .02 though.
You just need to move and find another track, because apparently EVERYTHING runs horribly at yours. EVOs are low 13 second cars stock. Just like STi's.
Have you ever been to the track, I know what they are SUPPOSED to do. I don't need another track I run just fine there. Your opinions are biased, you know I don't believe anything you say, you are the defender of imports. Now I know you will type 8 paragraphs trying to **** me off with a come back but it won't work so don't bother.

Hope you can drive. if you cant, from a dig, he will own you. from a roll, id put money on you.

Why doesnt hardly anybody buy a saleen supercharger and slap it on their GT? because they suck ***.
If your talking about the series II, your right but if your talking about the series IV noone buys them b/c their expensive as hell.
Series IV is 4500, Series V is the really expensive one.

When ever your dealing with Saleen stuff comes at a premium, it's as simple as that.

I know some people with Series IVs on GTs and in the 11s. I've seen some dyno sheets in the 390s. Hell my Series IV is 381 and with long tubes + a more agressive tune, I could realistically get 400rwhp. The problem is that the Series IV doesn't have the best intake manifold (Saleen designed narrow runners with too tight turns and the heat exchanger goes too low. Also it's not sealed properly so hot air can get around the heat exhanger). Chicane sport specializes in making the Saleens fast and has come up with an intercooler upgrade as well as a specially ported intake manifold. Some folks have had their own intake manifold ported with varying success. The cobra Front Heat exchanger from Lightningperformance.com as well as the Chicane double pass can keep things pretty cool and allow for the timing needed to see even higher numbers. The Series IV is very similar in design to a Kenne Bell and yields similar numbers with the right amount of porting.

both are mid-low 13 car with a decent driver, problem with EVOs are that people dont launch them like they should, i beat a stock EVO at the track in a 60' in my bone stock 5.0 but then again it comes down to the driver... the EVO vs the Saleen is a drivers race, who ever can handle their car better is gunna win.. If that EVO launches hard i dont think the saleen would be able to catch him cuz the saleen isnt gunna hook to well

What's the stipulation? Will you be driving in reverse? You should smoke that ricer... very, very hard.
in no ways is that car a ricer..it may be made into one but they are pretty peppy cars....imports that are not rice are cars like evo, sti, supra, rx7..cars like that are not rice

Mid 13s would be *extremely* good for a stockish Series II supercharger but not out of the realm of possibility, especially with the racecraft suspension and (i think) 3.55 gears that come with the S281SC
