LS1 anyone

 

Yes the LS1 is a strong engine and stock LS1 versus stock 4.6 GT, LS1 comes out a winner. However, to date I have owned every LS1 that I have come up against.

Very true Nanaki. It is so amusing when an LS1 pulls up along side me; the driver who looks over and sees my 4.6 GT badges and immediately thinks he's going to own me. They quickly discover otherwise. BTW, I love your Mods list.

 

This coming from a guy that had a GEO METRO. If u want a real car redass, look into getting one of those sleek little monsters they call a METRO! Absolutely the gayest car ever made, hands down. Now i know why you continue to trash talk everyone here with a V8. Thanks for clearing that up. I cant believe you had a car that has less horsepower than my 4-Wheeler!Did u have the model with 49hp or the model with 55hp? HAHA. I guess if it werent for the inline 3 cylinder Metro, then the Car itself wouldnt have made it. Rauchle05, that was very well put! If the V6 and 4 banger stang carried it though the the 80's good for it. Who cares! That was 20 years ago! The new V6 has some punch. FINALLY! Ups for FORD. A mustang with 87hp(fox 4 banger) or 140(pre 00) is lame. I u want a 80hp car, be like 2000SI and get a metro. You could easily get 80hp with A KB blower!

 

Well first off, the car was handed down to me. I didn't want it, I didn't purchase it. I wanted to buy my first car. An interesting tidbit that you didn't know, hence why you're jumping to conclusions; The first car I considered purchasing and owning was, in fact, a 1993 Ford Mustang 5.0 5 speed. You know why I didn't buy it? The car lot wanted 8 grand for a 9 year old vehicle with 125k miles on it. Lest I mention that it had a horribly grindy/slipping, clutch. You really expect me to get screwed over just for a POS lemon because it has a historic nameplate dating back to the 60s?

In the time of being 17 with a minimum wage job, I very much enjoyed my 55 mpg city and filling up once a month. I used the car for what it was, a slow *** gas mileage friendly vehicle that got me to and from work. I make fun of idiots on this board because they make idiotic comments, you don't want me putting my 2 cents in. Stop talking stupidity and ignorance. I look at the full picture of why there are different makes and models, with different sized engines and I realize what each one is for. You guys on the other hand think that because you want a domestic vehicle made by a company with the worst track record for reliability, that must mean everyone wants to sit at the stealership every month getting recalls fixed and repairs to essential engine and drivetrain parts.

Hell there are guys on here who traded in their Mustang for a Chevy of some sort because they got tired of fixing ****. Don't take it from me. Go talk to guys like Fatnick about that, or just go check out the 4.6 section with all the problems people are having.

If you're too blind to see that, then whatever. I really could care less, continue to live in blissful ignorance of anything outside of your little internet bubble some people here apparently love living in.

I don't understand why you constantly give lectures about this, on a mustang forum.

Nobody really cares about how good you civics gas mileage is.
You can talk all you want about how bad you think the quality of mustangs/ford is, but I really don't think anyone cares. I love my mustang and I would never buy a civic/ or honda for that matter, nomatter how many times my ford breaks down (not that it does, but obviously you are to blind to see that there are infact some good cars ford makes). Mabey you should watch from start to finish, The Fast and The Furious.
