Sorry, I didn't mean that all Fords are automatically garbage as soon as they came off the assembly line. But you do have to admit Ford is reemed out the *** for every single recall they make. While you hardly hear a word about Honda, Mitsu, Nissan and other import model recalls.

well, who are you to tell me what I can and can't say towards people. If they don't like them, at least understand my point of if there wasn't a V6, there wouldn't be any V8s. My personal experience with Fords is they are generally garbage, especially in the later years, but that doesn't mean I don't like them. Didn't mean to **** you off at all, just stating the opposite side of personal experience and the histroy behind the facts of why the V6 is/was so popular.

And who are you to say who can hate and who cant. If someone dosnt like V6 stangs they just dont. I dont care where u post. Alot of your posts are very helpful. U just call people out for saying something about a personal experience. I understand that you dont have a V8, and that you respect alot more cars than mustangs. I think thats cool. I didnt mean to rile you up. My bad.

By the way, if u think Ford is garbage why are u here? Complaint department closed. Theres the door mother f***er!
there probably wouldn't be any mustangs today if not for the v6. not everybody can afford a v8 car. for both insurance and just overall cost. don't they make like 10 v6 stangs for every 1 GT or something? people want the stang but can't afford the torquey v8.

Who the hell are u to say that if there wasnt a v6 then there wouldnt be a v8? You dont know that. But anyway as zw99gt says, i had a v6 for a few years. I am the first to admit that putting that motor in that car was a mistake. I mean i liked the looks, it looked fast. But that car puts a bad name on the mustang as slow as it was and still is. I put a cold air intake on it, some little resister chip on it, and it was still hidiously sluggish. i almost got beat from redlight to redlight by a fart pipe 80's model cavalier. Im a big mustang fan just like everybody else in here, but that cars output was a joke. It didnt deserve the horse symbols that were on it. Coming from a family that has owned mustangs ranging from a 1988 2.3 4 cylinder mustang(even bigger joke) to currently a 95 gt 5.0, and two 2003 mustang gt's, i think i deserve to have an opinion. So ill say as i please.

Ford nearly killed the Mustang platform in the 80s, but then brought the Foxbody out, and yes... they put 4 cylinder engines in some of those foxbody's. V6s and 4 banger Mustangs KEPT the Mustang afloat during a bad time in the automotive industry. If you don't know that, you really need to start watching the history channel more.
I already explained why I think Most fords are generally garbage. It's a Ford. If I must reiterate, I have owned a Ford. It was a big pile of ****. I took care of it as best as I could, after I paid 1900 cash for it, I put another 5k into just keeping it running over the two years I owned it. It was a pile of ****. POS. Disposable garbage.
Since everyone else here says Honda's suck because they're disposable garbage, I can think that way about certain Fords. There's the door, if you don't like my opinions go bang your head into it.
Besides, you all know the most popular acronym out there.

What's the difference? I had a 91 Geo Metro with NO engine problems at all. The 92 Ford was a pile. I took care of it, but every other week there was a problem. I didn't even get to drive it for a month because of repairs to the engine and head.
I bought my Civic used with 38k miles, it now has 70,700 on it, and I beat on it harder than I ever did on the Ford... yet no engine/drivetrain problems at all.
My point is is that the Ford I owned left me stranded three times, none of my other cars ever have. I have coworkers who've rented Taurus's and owned other Fords and had problems like crazy. These same people have owned Hondas with minimal, non crucial problems.
