Default Two Runs In The Shelby down Mexico way

Rolling to breakfast Sunday morning with my buddies and a white NE GT with a Cobra front end rolls up on me and paces the Shelby. I immediately hear what sounds like a Procharger. Look over and mid 20s dude is looking over at me and ready to run.

I figure what the heck, rolling around 50 and in third gear, out of the meat of the 5.4Ls powerband. No count or beeps to start if off, he just goes, so I hit it and roll into about 3/4 throttle, immediately the Whipple screams to life and leaps the nose of the car out by 1/2 a car length. Shift to 4th and keep about 3/4 throttle, put about a car and 1/2 on the dude and let out as the Mistress was done with the beating.

He rolls up again and wants to go from a dig ( on the highway) I decline as, one the car will not hook on a cold highway from a stop and two, well it's just foolish.

We go again from around 40 or so, also 3rd gear for me and results the same.

Then a buddy in a Lambo Gallardo LP560 and I go from around a 30 roll, now I'm in second, we hit it and I immediately blow the tires off the car as he jumps out about 2 cars. I pedal it and shift third, keep the gap about 2 cars before I have to let out for safety.

First runs I've had in a while.

LOL

I need to lower the pressure in my DRs. I've raced so little the last year plus that I have them at like 28 psi or so
