evos are POS

LMAO... Ok, I've made two anti ford sentiments here already, so I'm not even going to tell you about the Ford Taurus, which both me and my coworker saw, being towed by the Ford tow truck, which was on the flat bed of a Chevrolet tow truck that was driving down the street.
whoops. Guess I already did.

it blew the head clear through the hood, huh? you should have gotten a picture of that, because its amazing.
did you stop and talk to the evo drivers to see why they were broken down, or did you just happen to know people at the exact dealerships...you also said that they were being test driven, why did they have 2000 miles on them? i belong to a decent sized mitsu forum, and ive never heard of any of these magical head explosions, and ive seen alot of 10 and 11 second Evos frmo exedy and buschur racing...
why would you go from a supra, to a celica, to a V6 mustang? have any pictures?
in college i worked for universitry fleet services and we had 10 taurus', 10 focii, and 10 contours, and they were nothing but problems, especially the contours.

and as for the supra to a celica to a v6 mustang. bad luck. i actually started out with an 83 corolla withy a 2jz engine equipped with two turbos. i wrecked it. then i got the supra. i got rear-ended, twice, then someone firebombed it. then i got a 90 GT. it burned a long time. then i got an escort. sold it. then i got the v6. still have it. then i got the 83 390 hp celica. it got landed on by an f-250 last christmas

you car looks very, very clean, why dont you look into fixing it?
also, while i understand that this is a mustang site, so fanboy nonsense has to be expected, bashing cars that smack around most mustangs because you see ONE broken down, is a bit narrow minded...no?

my dad has had 2 tauruses. one went over 200,000 miles, then it got totaled. the other just just totaled. never had any problems with either one, except for normal wear and tear

Your dad's two Taurus's worked well, never broke down... but since you seem to have written that to defend them, no other Taurus's must break down.
But when you see two EVOs with head problems, that means they all do.
Isn't that making some sort of a hypocritical hypothesis on the reliability aspect of a certain automobile?
*confused*
I hope my point here is clear.

its not fanboy nonsense. the best car i had was my supra (rest in peices), and the celica. i happen to know people at dealerships, lots of people, and the general consensus is the new evos are sh!ttier than ever. and the eclipses did have brake failure problems, the list goes on and on with new mitsus. every car company has their problems, and every car is different from another, but when your cars are consistant sh!tboxes, i don't know why people would buy them. and it was two, both brand new, both with less than 2000 miles, both had head problems. the one being test driven broke all the head bolts, and literally blew the head through the hood. the one that was bought blew the head gaskets and a main cap. both stock. think of what would've happened if that guy was running more boost.

my friend has a 1990 tsi awd (4g63 same motor as new evos) with 166xxx miles on a BONE STOCK motor a big turbo, supporting mods, and a 4 bolt rear that runs mid 11's all day long. that said... i wouldn't claim they can all do that. so you shouldn't think all of them are pos because you saw two broken. there is a slogan dsm owners go by that somewhat agrees with you though...
"dsm, turning owners into mechanics since 1989"

i also have a friend with a stock evo (only piggyback tuner) making 336awhp and low 12's on a stock clutch... so most people on here must just run evo's whose owners don't know sh#t about tuning. my 2 cents
