i have no other idea how to prove this to you, seems you wouldn't believe it even if someone made the run right in front of you. i can tell you this though, if i was an internet BSer i'd come up with some better times for myself, maybe even some cool imaginary mods. truth is the car ran 14.31 stock with downgraded tires, i don't even know the brand of the tires since they are so sucky ...something like DEAN or another dude's name, they're all-season 205/60/16 ...they suck! best 60' was 2.24, i wouldn't make this stuff up.

i pulled a 2.22 with my 99 4.10's and partial exhaust and ran a 14.54

you don't have to buy what i say ...i'm not selling anything anyway[8D] honestly i was surprised myself when i ran that time, but since then i met up with some other notchback guys and most of the stock ones were running around the same thing (or better) some were mid-high 13s' with very minor bolt-ons. in all respect, i find it even more surprising that you only ran 14.54 with 4.10 gears and partial exhaust. even if your 60' was 2.22. a stock 99 usually runs very low 14s' with a 1.9 60'. just looks like you had a bad run to me. you did manage a 14.0 and expect some high 13s' so i don't see what is so surprising about a 14.3 out of a car that weighs about 600 less.
