I wasn't trying to imply that you are stupid, I just can't think of what other screens he could have had. Maybe he had one of those portable GPS things too, who knows.

I live in Northern VA and I'm looking for about $20,000. My car is fully loaded with basically every factory option; heated seats, sunroof, rear spoiler, auto-dimming compass mirror, Subaru premium sound system (with factory subwoofer under the passenger seat).

I could definitely make more money parting it out and returning it to stock, but the setup works so well together. I know someone wants a well-tuned car that is ready to go.

I'm not very familiar with stangs, but here's a post that I wrote and some answers to my questions.

The way you described this STi, it makes me wonder if it even was an STi. Anyone who adds crap azz neons to the undercarrage, is ricer in my book. My guess is that it was a WRX made to look like an STi. You can buy the wing, wheels, badging.....all that crap. If he had all these "mods" in his "STi" I doubt you would have taken him. Again, not bashing, but merely confused. Good kill on this ricer punk........it's those guys that give us STi owners a bad name.

stock for stock they are pretty even cars, although the STi actually pulls a faster 1/4 mile because of the AWD. that means it comes down to mods and the driver. MaSTi is right, it's not that uncommon for a wrx to be converted cosmeticlaly to a STi. just the same as a z28 owner converts it to SS or a gt owner converts it to cobra/saleen/wtvr.

if he was a regular wrx though, he had some decent mods to hang with you.
