Thanks for the compliments on the car guys. It is getting finished today with an awesome 150 shot wet kit. I can't use it of course until I rebuild the motor but I'm setting it up now for looks cause it looks so damn good! I didn't have time today, but I'm going to go with an msd window switch and set the nitrous to kill just before my vortech hits high boost. They didn't have anything but centrifugals available when I built the car so I'm trying to work with vortech to get what I can out of the car. I will be on 1/8 mile this friday and 1/4 mile this saturday and I'm going to take lots of new pics and videos and I'll post a new thread on monday with a link to the vids and pics. Wait till you see this car launch...

And as for the imports, it doesn't bother me in the slightests - I actually think it's funny and just wanted to share to see if anyone noticed the same behavior at their local tracks. Wanted to know if it was just a 'california' thing. I'll try to get some video of what I'm talking about so you can all laugh...it's funny.

So if you didn't read between the lines, I live in California and I'm up for challenges anytime!!??!!

60ft -1.598 1/8:7.961/86.25 MPH 1/4:11.989/113.45MPH

pullin real hard on the top end there, usually a 7.9 is around a 12.5-12.3, strange considering how it traps somewhat low too. Interesting anomaly, sounds like a cool ride tho. If I ever get out to California you will have to show me these ricers, sounds too funny!

It actually doesn't pull hard on the top end. I have not been back to the 1/8 since re-tuning the car with the kenne bell boost-a-pump and high octane tune. I ran the 11.989 just after that and it wasn't a particularly good run (nor bad) but the car is much stronger. As I said, I'm hitting the 1/8 this friday and the 1/4 this saturday. Going to take some video and post up the new times in my signature. I'm hoping to be very low 7's in 1/8 and mid 11's in 1/4. The low traps have been boggling me since I started running and can only blame it on the centrifugal vortech. That's why we came up with the nitrous window idea. I know absolutely ZIP about nitrous so I'm trusting my tuner on this one. (The kit looks pretty though...LOL)
