my first death
oh i see. missed the 02. still though under 300whp for sc v8 seems low...what kind of boost does it make? im guessing 3-6?? the gears will a big difference, you'll be happy with those for sure. do a pulley/tune

Mach 1, yeah its the supercharged version.
Turbostang, its an 02, not an 05 -my car is rated 365 at the flywheel and I had it dynoed at 296.5 RWHP. Im doing a pully+tune very soon. do any of you know if buying a new driveshaft woulf reduce some friction in the drivetrain and free up some HP?

Well ford may have underrated the cobras, but they sure as hell didnt underrate the saleen apparently lol. 365 fly and you made under 300rw? wow.....
Do you guys think that the m3 is more efficient (clutch, stick shift("best in the business reputation"), engine, transmission or just a better driver, and the all-ready-mentioned head start?

What year was the M3. The newer one makes 333hp at the crank and weighs 3415 lbs (curb weight). I'm assuming that you're making about 360 weighing 3210 lbs. I think that you should have taken him easily.

Thats what I was thinking thats a lot of drivetrain loss
yeah Im deffinitely gonna put some drags on the back when I get my tires changed (soon). And suprisingly enough, 296.5 rwhp is a blessing with my blower; its a saleen series II (eaton M90) -it builds alot of heat because its a roots blower. In regard to the under 300 numbers, I actually think its just that the plugs and boots are old -new ones would set me right at 300 rwhp. in the mean time drags, gears, pully+tune =not losing to an M3.
I'm not certain about the Saleens response to 4.10's but my Mach launches much better with 4.10 gears. I do not have to launch the car at high rpms like I do with the stock gears.

maybe you should get tires, instead of 4.10s. especially if you already spin like crazy, 4.10s are going to make that 10 times worse.
