Those 1st and 2nd gen Talons and Eclipses can be made very quick pretty easily. The 2nd gen ones are my favorite.
i like the way the 2g's look but the 1g's are faster and better built (6bolt motor)

I am not a big import guy but I have always liked the way the 2nd gen eclipses looked. I don't like the 3rd gen or the 4th gen at all. The new ones are really ugly.
only the front of the new ones. i saw one the other day when i was in pittsburgh with a new front clip and it was hot

sorry bud but a awd dsm with a $15 boost controller and exhaust (16psi is the highest without new injectors) will make short work of a 96 gt with your mods....at least she was hot eh
Thats kinda what I was thinking but I thought I would ask what time he thought he ran before I broke the news that the DSM was mostly stock. I still think she had a BOV and was venting into the atmosphere if her BOV was as loud as he said it was.

To me a top of the line Eclipse should be a turbo 4 cyl. I don't think they should have that lackluster V6. The eclipse turbo 4cyl>V6 eclipse

I agree, it would be like making the top of the line mustang FWD.

Noooooooooooooooo, not front wheel drive. I think I would cry if my Mustang was front wheel drive.

hey frmadig what are you running in the 1/4? i raced a GSX about a 97 and he said he had 20 psi and i pulled about a car length or 2. this was with just exhaust minus headers. i think he was bs'ing but ehhh.

oh and weight makes a huge difference. me and Prophecy were in his car with me him and 2 other kids. we raced a STI and it was fairly close and then we swtiched out the big kid (200+) and put him in the STI and the next 5 races weren't even close. im talking a busload. so weight has a huge disadvantage if your packing alot...firends,soundsystem etc...

i dont know what she had done, the bov was loud as hell though.. and it was the closest race i have ever had... but i dont race that much so i dont know.. but the fact that it was a hot chick and that she was driving a manual car was the best part..

I really have no clue what I run, the one time I was going to take it up to the track something broke on the way up there. Its really going to depend what kinda turbo the guy had as well as what else was done to the car. I had a friend who was running 20 psi on his eclipse and was running low 14's. Its very possible that the guy was running 20 psi on a smaller turbo that could not hold the 20 psi through the whole gear. My old turbo (T25) was set at 16 psi but at about 5,000 rpm's would drop down to 11 psi, the turbo was just to small can could not hold the boost.
