okay... two days ago i was dorkin around waisting gas with some friends.. i had two of my buddies with me and they arnt small and we where blasting aorund in the mustang.. but we came to a light and guess what pulls up next to us.. probably the most banging blonde in a eclipse and we rolled down the window and started talking to her and she seemed pretty cool.. and i was like you wana go? and i reved up.. and then she just smiled and did the same.. all i heared was Vroooooooooommmmmm PSHHHHHHHHHH
and i was like holy **** this might be close... the light turned green and i looked at her to see if she wasserious or not and she launched, then i stalled for a bit then launched and she was only like a foot ahead of me. we blased through first, second and 3rid neck and neck.. and all i could hear was her tubro ecplise halling *** right next to me. then i hit 4th and slowly pulled ahead... that was the closest race i have ever had. this eclpise scared the **** out of me.. all i could think about is how much id get busted on knowing a hot girl i na gay car beat my 96 mustang gt. with a few mods.
ive been trying to tell myself that carrien around a bunch of subs and a trunk full of **** and two big dudes really slowed me down but im not sure by how much. does anyone know how much it slows you down on the track? with all that extra weight?
i guess all i have to say is im not gona think eclipses are pushovers anymore. some ofthem are fast as hell..
my car :
96 GT mustang, lowerd 2 inches, 17 inch cobra R's, bored out throttle body, with K&N air filter, PI intake manifold, 2 1/2 inch pipes from the headers, two high flow cats, x pipe, flowmasters.
and her car looked like a 99 eclipse somthing or other... but had a crazy loud blow off valve. and she talked about some kinda turbo ricer talk and i have no clue what kinda turbo it was. but this car was fast...
anyone here lost to an eclpse before? or ran one and been completely suprised?

Those 1st and 2nd gen Talons and Eclipses can be made very quick pretty easily. The 2nd gen ones are my favorite.

I am not a big import guy but I have always liked the way the 2nd gen eclipses looked. I don't like the 3rd gen or the 4th gen at all. The new ones are really ugly.
