Are you sure about that? I've ridden in a '92 IROC Z with a M5 that was stock and it would move. It felt damn fast. I know it'll trap more than '95 in the quarter...

The Irocs dont all have 350's in them. Some have 305's and yea I am POSITIVE!! My bro has a 305 Firebird Formula 5 speed so I have done all the research on those cars.

I'm fairly sure that Camaros did not leave the factory with a 5-speed mated to a 350, though I have seen several that have been swapped. I thought it was because the T5(?) was not rated for the torque output of the 5.7L L98.

I thought all RS Camaros were V6s. I rode in one before, and it seemed even slower than my car.

No, some of the 3rd gen RS's had V8's. All of the 4th gen RS's are V6's.

The oem T5's are only rated at a max torque of 300. So I am sure that also had something to do with it. But like I said the 5speeds only came in the 305 or V6. Unless swapped like you said. In which case that guy is a freakin moron because he will have nothing but problems with the Ttops. Unless he had a hard top car, then he would be not so moron like haha

Right on bruva. All the 5.7 cars got the 4 speed auto.

EDIT....you could also get the 5.7 cars with t-tops.
