Default Lowering Spring Question?

I have a 95 gt 5speed. Engine is slowly being upgraded, but Before I bring it out for spring Im replacing most of the suspension if not all. Replacing Front- ball joint, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and links, tie rod, struts, spring insulator. Rear - new upper.lower tubular control arms, shocks, axle damper shocks, spring insulators.

My question is I would like to get a set lowering springs about a 2" drop but along with the above mentioned stuff would I need anything else with the installation of the lowering springs?

Thanks in advance for all infomation..

I was told that if I drop the car 2" that I would need a set of Camber/Caster Adjustment Plates, Just trying to find out if I really need them now

you will need to adjust camber after a 2 inch drop, they make an adjusting bolt for the strut/knuckle combo which is a quick fix but you won't always get as much adjustment as needed, or just get the camber/caster plates

Hello,

To go with a spring with that much drop, you will need our X2 ball joint and a bumpsteer kit. You will also need our caster camber plates.

We make great, quality parts that are made in the U.S.A.

You can check us out at www.steeda.com.

Best Regards,

TJ

I might mention you will need to make sure of your driveline angle before so as to set the rear end at proper angle so as not to destroy rear end seal.
also make sure of your steer tire clearance if running 17 inch rims you will have rub inner and outer problems.

I agree with Steeda... You'll need those parts whether or not they are Steeda brand or otherwise.

That said, I've been out of the loop for a long time but a member here for years. It's nice to see manufacturers participating more.

Yep, for a two inch drop, I'd include caster camber plates, adjustable upper control arms, and a bumpsteer kit.
