Hello!
I have a 1990 5.0 Seven Up Convertible. Living in Germany, I bought me a parts donor car which is a 1989 2.3 Convertible.
Now the front end of my 5.0 (see pic) needs a rebuild job. I have two options:
-I can pull the one from my 2.3, rebuild it and then swap it into the 5.0
-Other option is to pull bad one from the 5.0, rebuild it and put it back in.
But this means to me that the 5.0 will not be useable for the entire rebuild job, which can take a while, as parts are hard to come by here in Germany.
Option one ist therefore the preferred one.
My question to the community: Can these front ends be interchanged? I know that the springs are different, but is the rest identical?
