I'll probably get laughed off this forum but here we go.
I own a 2005 Mustang 4.0 and am trying to lift it around 5 inches to fit 15x8 steelies and offroad tires. I don't want to use strut cups or any garbage that is normally used to lift a car. I'm not looking to fit big rims on it, I'm trying to follow this guy's build.
In a description on Deadclutch he said he used "Front- full custom strut with eibach offroad race springs (9.4inch travel), custom control arms Front suspension’s strut mounts are for mustang GT500 and most bushings/joints are for GT500. It helps with handling. Front suspension has preload charged about 700lb per corner. Rear – Adjustable shocks(tuned) with eibach offroad race spring (11.6 inch travel)"
Any idea how I would go about finding my own struts, shocks and springs? Thanks.
