My oil pump went out in my 98 cobra motor the motor only had 4,000 miles on it. Im baffeled why it failed the pump had a 1" crack on the front and the gears inside where the crank spins it were stripped out. Why would this fail? Bad part? Any feedback would be greatly appricated
