Default 99 Cobra lowering springs...

My advise to you all.... PAY SOMEONE TO INSTALL THEM!

Holy moly.. What a BIG pain in the but that was.. The fronts went on pretty smooth.. The backs however, well, lets just say there was alot of jacking, unjacking, tightening, untightening, twisting, turning and a WHOLE LOTTA 'F' bombs dropped..

The RIS made the job a real pain in the butt.. I salute anyone who does it on a regular basis.. I'm sure having all the right tools and knowing all the right tricks makes the difference but for an average joe like me it stunk.. From start to finish it took about 12-14 hour of pure labor time.. Well, maybe it was only 2 hours of labor and 10-12 hours of sitting on a bucket thinking how the hell we were gonna do this..

Any how, check out the link below.. I have before and after pictures..

Looks way better. Thanks for posting about your nightmare project...I will just stay away from those independant rear suspentions myself...doesn't it just feel better that you did the work...probably not, but it is a small consolation.

Actually, it feels GREAT.. I got 3 quotes for the job.. All for $400.. So, just saving that much money feels great.. Nonetheless, it still sucked =\
