Well I am the proud new owner of a 2001 cobra, but there is one problem with it, the air box ihas a crack in it, should I just get a cold air intake to replace it, or do i still need the box if I do that. As you guys can see im no mechanic, please id love some advice!

 

just use it as an excuse to upgrade and get better CAi, not sure which ones are good for the 01 Cobras.

 

Depending what the crack looks like you could prolly silicone it and then duct tape it from the inside. The cosmetics wouldnt be as good but would still function
