I just bought a 99 Cobra convert, and I cannot find out if the recall stuff was done to the car, the intake, and the exhaust. The service guy told me that they can only go back 1 year to see info on the VIN, and he also told me that SVT would not honor the recall now that its been so long. Anyone have any luck with trying to collect on this recall, or does anyone have any idea what to do? I intend to leave the car pretty much stock, this is my work car...I would like it to have the 320 hp is supposed to have tho, so I would like to get the intake and exhaust corrected. Thanks in advance guys!

Hey man i also own a 99 cobra. All you have to do is talk to the guy about where he had the recalls down. If anything just go to any ford dealer and they will tell you rather they did or not. There is also a recall on spindels and e brake cable so they should fix that **** too. There is no such thing as they won't fix the recall since i has been so long. I took mine in to get the spindels and e brake 4 months ago. They will fix it. The spindel thing though is cool. They say if you rev to high off the line they will just snap GO FORD POWER. So anyways they will fix everything. Hope this helps
