well i tried it and it gave the supercharger a bit of a whistle, but it kinda feels like a have a little more tq in low end rpms and it seemed to improve my throttle response.

Its not necessarily a "free mod". Many websites offer a boost bypass kit for 16 bucks or something. They say the eaton just cuts boost in the higher rpms. This is supposed to eliminate that. I honestly couldnt tell on mine and i have a pulley. O well.

I don't mean to be a bad influence. Save you money and get a whipple.
I was happy with the stage 4 port for about 1 day.
As for the boost bypass just leave it hooked up normally. You can shut it off in the tune for WOT applications.

Boost leaks down in the Eaton.

It won't make a noticable difference on a stock Cobra, but put a pulley on and try it, you'll see the difference.

Why don't you mod your Cobra yellow?
i am once i get some money, but when i do i'm porting getting a CAI and a pulley and tune. I just need to save like 1500 bucks that should cover that.

I would NOT recommend a mechanical boost bypass. It's there for a reason. You can do the boost bypass in your tune and still have the protection of the mechanical bypass if needed. Read more on my FAQ page. http://stangshiftergaskets.com/2003_...m#_Toc35092406
