1995 Z28 vs 2001 svt cobra

Last night i got up against 95 z28 it didnt sound stock the kid said it was. I raced it and that think stayed almost right next to me. That pissed me off so bad. What do you guys think was that z heavily moded? It sounded like it was cammed.

Probably not heavily modded,but definatly modded.Stock for stock,LT-1s won't stay with N/A Cobras.
