I had a 1996 V6 mustang. I had a lot of mods done to it and it was pushing about 250hp. But everytime I just dumped the clutch and punch the gas it would bog then it would just start reving back up once it started to get going. I read on the internet on some websites that the problem alot of times is a bad MAF sensor. So if I were you, buy a new MAF sensor and see if that fixes your problem. That could be a cheap and easy fix. Try that before anything.

 

You may also need the IMRC cleaned

You sure you're not in third? People do it I don't know. lol
Is your A/C on? this extremelyaffects performance.
Are you revving it up enough?You probably know what you're doing but I thought I'd ask.
