Default Cobra drag racing info please

I just bought an 03 Cobra and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on drag racing this beast. I took her to a track and only got to run two passes, my best being a 13.1 @ 110 MPH. I'm still trying to get used to the IRS and am wondering what RPM I should launch from that shouldn't cause wheel hop. Mods include a 3" pulley, K&N FIPK, and magnaflow mufflers. I would think I should be able to click off a 12 sec pass, but I dont want to embarass myself. Thanks

Definately be able to run a 12.5 with those mods. Ive seen them run 12.6's to 12.8's bone stock before.

Definitely a 12.5-12.8 second car! The best way to eliminate or decrease wheel hop is getting some good tires! Then roll out the clutch, don't drop it or you could end up causing clutch or haldf shaft damage. I like the new Mickey Thompson drag radials. They hook pretty good. The BFG drag radials hoook awesome on the street! I roll out at about 4000 rpm and nail it after it grabs. It is a practice, practice, practice, did I say practice enough?? It took me a bunch of tries to be able to get my cobra under a 2.0 sixty foot time LOL You will have to learn the car and how to get her off the line! Good luck! Stay with it. You will get it!

I ran 11.8 at 118 with just a 2.93 pulley, catted x and cat back, CAI
With BFG Drag Radials at 18PSI and 3200 RPM Launch.
If you don't have a billet flow Differential brace get one.
And the best advice I can give is if it starts Hopping get out of the gas.

Here is some info on my website that might help a bit. At least it helps with the basics.
