I still am undecided, it is hard to tell from the sound clips with the distortion and my crappy a$$ speakers in my laptop. Maybe I will just have to chase down someone on the street when I hear a good sounding exhaust pass by lol. I think in the end though it is going to come down to $ and the Flowmaster American Thunder Catback system is around $340. Nobody has any thoughts on the 3:90 gears?

 

sorry for late reply but there is a problem with the manual trannies on the '01 cobras (I am origional owner). Ford put out a TSB on it so it is a known problem. Basically the synchro kit is not good and tranny grinds 1st to 2nd shift. Ford put 2 new trannies in my care whileit was under warranty but never fixed the prob. This summer I read about the problem in 5.0/Fords and had it fixed at an authorized SVT dealer. Almost $2000 parts and labor. It was worth it though as it shifts like butter now - better than when car was new. Any other 2001 owners experience this? It only did in when it was cold out, so warmerclimate owners may not even know.
