i BEAT a cbr 600 F2 w/ my 03 cobra, and raced an 03 gsxr 600 from a roll, and he didnt pull on me until i hit 4th gear(i was in 2nd when we started racing), everybody knows that cobra's order up gsxr's for appetizers.
i love my cobra, but i had to do some work to it cuz the 06 GTO is coming out w/ 400hp w/ a 6.0, and according to motor trend will run a 13.3, and the new caddy sts-v will have 425 hp, and also according to motor trend, will run a 13.1. i also read that the 06 vette will have 500hp stock. thats some serious power out of a stock car. but when they come out, i'll be ready for them, [sm=smiley20.gif]
as far as sport bike times, a modded R1 with a pro rider can run a 9.8, so with an everyday rider on a 600, he better bring his A game or imma hurt his 'feel bads' w/ my Cobra, i will video tape me racing the gsxr 600 and you guys will see what it looks like to see a sports bike get beat buy a 'four wheeler'

yeah it sucks that ford doesn't up the displacement, but whatcha gonna do? I always get the "ford needs a power adder to keep up" bull**** from my f-body friends but they are just jealous and admit they wish their car had a blower and forged internals too

I just looked at everybody posts. I own a 02 t/a and some of my friends own ls1/lt1 fbodys. All of us think the same thing the 03/04 are fast. Ive race at least five of them killed me hands down. We all know to that mustang out sold fbodys. So im not trying to start any thing but but there are fast fbody also. Like the ZL1 camaros and the trans am blackbirds. Just so if any of you dont know there where 3 phases. 380hp,420hp and 600hp. I know they are rare fbodys but i just had to add my 2 cents in. If you guy/girls think that am a chevy guy try to strat a fight im not. Im try to find a modded cobra.

I dont have time to step in this arguement, im off to work, but nice car man, and congrats... I'll race yah when your ready? I live in newton county, forest park(No Limit Motorsports is going to be adding my s/c and doing the upgrades and tune up, but right now if your close to stock I dont mind racing you

Congrats on your car man! It is an awesome beast, something I will never get rid of. Add a few simple bolt ons and you'll have yourself an 11second King of the Street.
As for someone mentioning racing a Fbody from a 50MPH roll, any time, any place. I will make you look like your sitting still. The argument of the Fbody's being faster at the higher speeds only applies to mustangs <> 03/04 Cobra's.
And remember the old cliche, "Size only matters if you know how to use it", so take your 5.7L heavier POS and get the Fu** out our MUSTANG forum if you don't like it.
