my 04 cobra wont start, i bring it to the dealer and they said the tps is what is wrong. does this sound right to you guys? thanx.

 

The tps is on the throttle body. See if its one there for one, see if its plugged into the harness. Is he saying it went bad or what?

I guess just get it replaced then. Never heard that before.

 

Do you know anyone that has a predator for an 03/04 cobra? If so, put it on and see what code is tripping. But dealers are never wrong....Yeah right!

Good luck in finding your problem though, it could be a few things other than the TPS.

 

i dont know ? but iam not going to unplug mine to see. i dont want any codes.[]i dont have a scanner. but let us know. if the dealer repairs it the tps and it runs ok , but if they say you need another part too . beware!

 

i just dont see how the tps goes bad. It hooks right to the throttle body. It makes no sense to me.

 

I would tend to agree with you, but it is still an electrical part so it can fail. I wonder if he was told it was the Fuel Pressure Rail Sensor...

 

your anti theif light dont blink real fast when you turn the key on does it ? i dont belive ford could make that mistake , but you never know.
