HELP!!! Fuel Rail Pressure Problem
Hey guys I am a new to the whole mustang thing. I have just purchased a 04 Cobra black on black. I have a 2.8 pulley, bassani exhaust, steeda cold air, and diablo sport programmer(which I think is junk???) I am having a problem with my car cutting out like someone cuts the fuel off then flips the switch and it is back on??? I am getting a service code of P0190 Which says Fuel Pressure Rail Sensor. I am wondering if anyone has had this problem or if it is not common. If anyone could send some info my way on this I would greatly appreciate it.

RE: HELP!!! Fuel Rail Pressure Problem
I don't think that's a common problem, but anything's possible. The fuel pressure sensor is located on the driver side fuel rail, right in the middle. Not sure if you knew that already. The sensor works in conjunction with the fuel pumps, which control the fuel pressure on our returnless system. Sorry, but that's about as much as I know.

RE: HELP!!! Fuel Rail Pressure Problem
does it happen all the time or while shifting? what about normal driving or only while running the car hard? i had a few friends that were having a problem with the pprv valve. it doesn't normally give you too many problems until you hit higher power levels. he said that the problem was mostly while sifting and running the car harder. while data logging witht the predator you could see a huge drop in fuel pressure down to almost 0lbs as he was shifting gears which caused the car to cut out then kick back in.
