01 Cobra long tube header question
Im getting a set of BBK Ceramic coated long tube headers for my 2001 Cobra and was wondering what is the best way to install these im sure there going to be a pita but I have access to a lift at work is it easier to jack the engine up some or drop the engine and trans with the subframe I would like to hear your opinions or experiences that would make things some what easier thanks, Patrick

ive heard dropping the trans helps alot but thats not really necessary. But you will be spending a decent amount of time on it but saving yourself alot of money.

RE: 01 Cobra long tube header question
well professionally, they say to pick the engine up and twist it around and all this stuff with a cherry picker i believe (idk some 03 cobra guy was trying to explain it) but i followed http://www.fnsweet.com/garage/lt_install/index.shtmland it was a pretty good guide, they just dont tell you when the bloody knuckles and frustration comes in but expect it. I did it in my drive way with basic backyard inginuity...but using the lift would probably help tons
