RE: Looking for a 4v engine...
if you cant afford 3-4k then a 4V is not for you.
To do a complete rebuild with all the proper parts and what not will run you up $3500-4000.
To get a crate motor would cost about $5000.
Other people may differ but this is my experience, and I rebuilt my motor myself.
If you want to start.. junkyards. Salvage a good block somewhere.. start calling around.

RE: Looking for a 4v engine...
I was only making light of the fact the terminator motors are freakin expensive... I am not looking to start out spending 5k for a motor thats for sure. There are no junk yards in the area that would carry that kind of engine. Poor white trash town! Any websites that would deal in "good" used 4v's? Thanks

I figured, but I was just telling you straight up. No 4v is cheap really, which sucks.
Tons of moving parts, and you pay for the name. If your gonna build one up.. research which parts between a cobra nad a Gt engine are the exact same part, and are interchangable. I know a TON of cosmetic stuff from the 6cyl to the cobra are all interchangeable.
It will save you a ton of money, because a GT part that costs $150 will cost $320 for a cobra (example).
